Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not publish or run on Aglyn.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Aglyn platform and Services and is incorporated into the Terms of Service. It applies to you, your Authorized Users, your Hosts, and (as your responsibility) your End Users. We may update this AUP at any time. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

You are responsible for all activity on your Account, Organization, and Hosts, and for ensuring your End Users comply with this AUP.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Services to create, host, store, publish, transmit, or distribute content that:

is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading;
infringes or misappropriates any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other right (see the Copyright and DMCA Policy);
is obscene, or that constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexualizes minors — strictly prohibited and reported to authorities as required by law;
promotes or incites violence, terrorism, self-harm, or illegal activity;
harasses, threatens, defames, or promotes hatred or discrimination against individuals or groups;
contains malware, ransomware, spyware, or other harmful code;
infringes export-control or sanctions laws, or facilitates illegal weapons, drugs, or human trafficking;
constitutes unlawful gambling, pyramid schemes, or other prohibited financial schemes; or
violates any applicable law or regulation.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You may not, and may not permit others to:

gain or attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, data, or network;
probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breach or circumvent security, authentication, rate limits, quotas, or usage measures, except through an authorized security-disclosure process;
interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services (including denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or overloading);
use the Services to distribute spam or unsolicited bulk or commercial messages, or to violate anti-spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR/ePrivacy);
send email or messages without a lawful basis or required consent, or with false or misleading headers or sender information;
scrape, crawl, or harvest data or content except as expressly permitted, or use bots to abuse the Services;
misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate any person or entity;
use any part of the Services — including sites, pages, forms, and custom domains; media and file hosting; the CRM, campaigns, sequences, automations, and any email, text, or other message sent through the Services; commerce, checkout, bookings, and payments; marketplace listings and plugins; AI features; and APIs — for phishing, scams, or fraud, or to impersonate, or imply an affiliation with, a business, brand, public body, or person that you do not represent, including by copying its name, logo, look, sign-in or checkout pages, domain, or sender identity;
resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted;
use the Services to build a competing product or to benchmark without our consent;
circumvent or manipulate fees, billing, metering, or usage limits; or
engage in cryptocurrency mining, or other activity that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.

3. Commerce, Payments & Regulated Goods

If you use commerce, POS, subscription, paywall, digital-goods, gift-card, or marketplace features:

you must comply with the terms of the payment processor (e.g., Stripe) and its prohibited/restricted-business rules;
you must not sell goods or services that are illegal, restricted, counterfeit, stolen, or that violate the payment processor's rules;
you are solely responsible for product legality, licensing, age restrictions, disclosures, fulfillment, refunds, and consumer-protection compliance, and for the taxes allocated to you by Section 10.7 of the Terms of Service; and
you must not use the Services to process payments unrelated to your own bona fide business, to launder money, or to facilitate fraud or chargebacks.

4. Data, Privacy & End Users

You must provide your own legally compliant privacy notice to your End Users and obtain any required consents (including for cookies, marketing, and data collection through forms, CRM, and analytics).
You must not use the Services to unlawfully collect, use, or disclose personal information, or to process sensitive data without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
You are responsible for compliance with applicable data-protection laws (e.g., GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) with respect to your End Users. See the Data Processing Addendum.

5. AI Features

You may not use AI Features (as defined in the Terms of Service), or permit others to use them, to create:

pages, emails, or other content that obtains passwords, payment details, or other personal information by deception, such as phishing pages, imitation sign-in or checkout pages, or false notices asking someone to verify an account;
content that impersonates a real business, brand, public body, or person that you do not represent, including their name, logo, sign-in page, or voice, or that claims an endorsement, certification, or partnership you do not have;
content that promotes or sells prohibited goods or services, including weapons, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, malware or deceptive downloads, or unlicensed gambling, or any content that sexualizes minors;
scams or fraud, such as fake investment or cryptocurrency schemes, advance-fee offers, technical-support scams, fake charities, or false prize notices;
harassment, threats, or hateful content targeting a person or a group; or
large numbers of near-duplicate pages or copy whose purpose is to manipulate search engines, or content for unsolicited bulk messages.

You also may not:

use AI Features for anything else this AUP prohibits, to infringe or misappropriate anyone's rights, or in violation of the use policies of the AI provider that serves them;
submit AI Input that you do not have the right to use, including personal information you are not permitted to process;
attempt to make an AI Feature ignore or work around the rules it applies, including through instructions placed in content that you submit or link to; or
create or use multiple Accounts or Organizations, or use scripts or other automation, to obtain more AI credits or requests than your plan provides, or otherwise circumvent AI credit limits, spending limits, allotments, permissions, or rate limits.

An AI Feature may decline a request that appears to fall within this Section, and a declined request may still count toward your AI usage and daily limits. We may pause AI Features for an Account or Organization, including automatically for the rest of the day after repeated declined requests on the Free plan, and may take any other action described in Section 7. You are responsible for reviewing AI Output before you apply, publish, or send it.

6. Fair Use, Quotas & Rate Limits

The Services enforce plan quotas and rate limits (e.g., requests, storage, bandwidth, email sends, API usage). You must not circumvent them. We may throttle, suspend, or charge overage fees for usage exceeding your plan, and we may change quotas and limits at any time.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may, in our sole discretion and without liability, remove or disable content, suspend or throttle features, suspend or terminate Accounts, Organizations, or Hosts, and report activity to law enforcement — at any time, with or without notice. We may also cooperate with legal authorities and Third-Party Services. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so.

Repeated copyright infringement is dealt with under the repeat-infringer policy in our Copyright and DMCA Policy, which describes how we record upheld copyright notices against a workspace, what removes one, and the threshold at which we decide whether to terminate an account.

Phishing, scams, fraud, and impersonation are serious violations wherever they occur on the Services. We may suspend any Account, Organization, Host, or domain involved immediately and without notice, and may terminate it permanently and refuse any future Account or Organization to the same person or business.

A suspension or termination for violating this AUP or the Terms of Service does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid, including for any unused part of a billing period (Terms of Service Section 4.8), and does not relieve you of any amounts owed, including charges for usage, add-ons, or plan changes that are billed on a later invoice.
