WEBFLOW ALTERNATIVE

The Webflow alternative that includes the back office

Webflow is an excellent design tool. Aglyn is the whole business behind the website — the canvas, the customer records, the automations, the email and the store, in one console on one plan.

The form goes somewhere

A Webflow submission is stored and emailed — what happens next is Zapier plus a CRM plus an email tool. In Aglyn the form writes a contact record, and a workflow tags it, notifies someone and starts the follow-up.

Consent, not a bolt-on

A consent banner, a region-resolved opt-in or opt-out posture, Global Privacy Control handling and a persistent privacy control ship with the platform. On Webflow you would typically add a third-party consent tool.

One plan, not a stack

Webflow layers a Site plan, a Workspace plan, per-seat fees and add-ons such as Localization. An Aglyn plan carries the sites, the team, the CRM, the email and the store together, with usage past your bands itemized at published rates.

Where Webflow ends and Aglyn begins

Webflow gives you a form, stores the submission and emails you. What happens next is somebody else's product — Zapier or Make, piped into a CRM, piped into an email tool. Three integrations and three bills to keep in sync.

In Aglyn the form writes a contact record in the same console. A workflow can tag it, notify a colleague, add it to an audience or start an email sequence. The audience it joins carries a recorded consent basis, because the email tool and the consent records are the same system.

Included from Starter ($25/mo): custom domain and SSL, forms, contacts, workflows and automations, data tables, bookings, commerce and digital goods, and your own branding instead of ours. Business ($139/mo) adds the REST API, webhooks and multi-language.

The short answer

Choose Webflow if the visual result is the priority — fine-grained layout control, scroll and motion interactions, and a design canvas with years of polish behind it. Also if you want the largest possible pool of designers who already know the tool.

Choose Aglyn if the site is the front of a business, and the CRM, forms, automations, email and store matter as much as the layout — or if you would rather pay for one platform than a site plan plus a workspace seat plus a localization add-on plus a CRM plus an email tool.

If all you need is a beautifully designed brochure site and nothing behind it, Webflow is a very good answer, and this page is not going to talk you out of it.

Pricing: one plan against a stack

Webflow's pricing is layered by design — a Site plan for each website, a Workspace plan for the team, per-seat fees, and add-ons. For a single site with one designer it is inexpensive. It compounds as you add sites, seats and locales.

Aglyn prices are our own published list prices. Webflow prices are as published in September 2026, after Webflow's May 2026 plan restructure. Both change — check current pricing before you decide.

Past the bands your plan includes, Aglyn meters page views at $0.13 per 1,000, form submissions at $0.065 per 1,000 and storage at $0.0338 per GB-month, itemized on the invoice rather than cutting the site off.

What Webflow does better

A comparison that claims a clean sweep is not worth reading. Webflow is ahead of us here:

  • Interaction and motion design. Webflow's interactions, scroll animation and 3D transform tooling are deeper than ours. If elaborate motion is the point of the project, Webflow is the better tool.
  • Ecosystem and hiring pool. Far more designers already know Webflow. If you need to hand the site to a contractor next year, that pool is a real asset.
  • Learning resources. Webflow University is excellent and free. Our documentation is thorough but new, and there is no comparable community forum yet.
  • Maturity. Webflow has been shipping for over a decade. Aglyn entered public beta on 1 September 2026, and plan contents can change during beta.
  • Enterprise assurances. Webflow Enterprise carries SOC 2 Type II certification and a 99.99% uptime SLA. We do not publish an uptime SLA — we will not commit to a number before we can measure it over time.

You can take it with you

Aglyn is licensed under Apache 2.0. The platform can be run on your own infrastructure using the Docker Compose setup in the repository and your own Firebase project, and a site's content can be exported from Pro up. Self-hosting means building from source; we do not currently publish prebuilt images.

Webflow lets you export a site's static HTML, CSS and JavaScript, which is genuinely useful — but the CMS, forms and hosting behavior stay behind. The difference is between exporting the output and being able to run the system.

Frequently asked questions

There is no one-click Webflow importer, so a rebuild on the canvas is the honest answer. Content in Webflow CMS collections exports as CSV and can be brought into an Aglyn collection.

No. One Aglyn plan covers several sites — 3 on Pro, 10 on Business, 25 on Advanced and 100 on Agency. Webflow requires a Site plan for each published site.

SAML and OIDC single sign-on are available on Enterprise. Webflow also gates SSO to its Enterprise tier, so the two are level here.
