DUDA ALTERNATIVE

The Duda alternative for agencies whose clients need more than a site

Duda is a capable website builder for agencies. Aglyn gives every client site the business behind it — the customer records, the automations, the email and the store — with up to 100 sites on one plan, in one console.

The CRM behind every client site

On Duda, form responses are stored and exported to CSV, and a CRM means connecting one such as HubSpot. In Aglyn the form writes a contact record, and a workflow tags it, notifies someone and starts the follow-up.

Many sites, priced like it

Duda's Agency and White Label plans include 4 sites, and each one after costs $17/mo. Aglyn's Agency plan includes 100 sites with white-label, and extra sites are $20/mo.

Open source, and yours to run

Aglyn is Apache-2.0 and runs from the repository's Docker Compose setup. Duda hosts every site itself, and its export, from the Agency plan up, is static files without the forms, store or blog.

Where Duda ends and Aglyn begins

Duda is a website builder sold to agencies by the site: its Agency plan includes four, and each one after costs $17/mo. What Duda's pricing page does not list is the business behind the site — a CRM means connecting one such as HubSpot, and email marketing means a tool such as Mailchimp or Omnisend.

In Aglyn that business is part of every client site. The form writes a contact record in the same console. A workflow can tag it, notify a colleague, add it to an audience or start an email sequence, and the audience it joins carries a recorded consent basis — because the email tool and the consent records are the same system.

For an agency, all of it runs per client. Each site sits under your organization. Invite a client to their own site as an editor or author and build pages together with live co-editing, bill them with a payment link or a subscription paid into your own Stripe account, and share datasets across every client site you run.

Included from Starter ($25/mo): custom domain and SSL, forms, contacts and the CRM, workflows and automations, bookings, commerce and digital goods, and your own branding instead of ours. Pro ($56/mo) adds email campaigns, point of sale and site export. Business ($139/mo) adds the REST API, webhooks, multi-language, memberships and subscriptions. Agency ($1,299/mo) adds white-label across your sites, the console your clients sign in to and the emails they receive.

The short answer

Choose Duda if your clients require a vendor with a completed SOC 2 Type II examination today. Duda reports one; Aglyn does not have one yet.

Choose Aglyn if your clients need the CRM, forms, automations and email behind their sites as much as the sites themselves, if you run many client sites and want them on one plan — anywhere from 3 on Pro to 100 on Agency — or if you want the platform under your client work to be open source.

Aglyn prices from aglyn.com/pricing. Duda prices as published on 10 September 2026, in USD per account, with extra sites at its Website Builder rate. Both change — check current pricing before deciding.

Fees, plainly. Aglyn takes 2% of physical-goods sales on Starter and 0% from Pro up, and 5% of digital goods and memberships on Starter, tapering to 3% on Pro, 2% on Business, 1% on Scale and 0% from Advanced. Duda charges no transaction fee on its store add-on; the add-on itself is priced per site. Payment processing is separate on both platforms and goes to the processor.

What Duda does better

A comparison that claims a clean sweep is not worth reading. Duda is ahead of us here:

  • Security attestations. Duda has completed a SOC 2 Type II examination and is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified. We have neither yet.

You can take it with you

Aglyn is licensed under Apache 2.0. The platform can be run on your own infrastructure using the Docker Compose setup in the repository and your own Firebase project, and a site's pages, components, collections and datasets can be exported from Pro up.

Duda hosts every site it builds. From its Agency plan up, a published site can be exported as static HTML, CSS, JavaScript and media, and form responses, collections, products and orders export as CSV — but the store, blog, dynamic pages and forms do not work in the exported copy. The difference is between exporting the output and being able to run the system.

Frequently asked questions

There is no one-click Duda importer, so a rebuild on the canvas is the honest answer. Duda exports its collections and form responses as CSV: collection rows import into an Aglyn dataset, and contacts into the CRM.

Yes. Give the client a collaborator seat on their site and their console shows only that site, where you can build pages together with live co-editing. An editor can publish; an author can make changes but not publish them; a viewer can look without changing anything.

Yes. Send a client a payment link from a draft order, or sell them a subscription from Business up, and the payment goes to your own Stripe account.
